Childline visit to Primary Five, Six and Seven.
NSPCC visit to Primary Five, Six and Seven.
Today the children had a visit from Patricia who works for the NSPCC. She gave a follow on workshop to the work that has been done in each classroom over the last week about the key messages of Childline and the NSPCC.
The children understand the different types of abuse and that it is never a child’s fault. They recognise that they have the right to be kept safe and to know who they can talk to if they need help. The children were reminded about the sources of support in and out of school and how they can access these. Support maybe from parents, family members, friends, trusted adults in school and online support services such as childline.org.uk/kids
Thank you to Patricia and her team for all their help and support.
