We travelled to the Palace Stables in Armagh to learn about Christmas through the ages. We met a cook from long ago who was busy making mince pies and a soldier who showed us war time toys. In the craft room, we made Christmas lanterns to decorate our trees at home. We woke up Santa who was napping. We each jumped up on the sofa beside him and told him what we would like for Christmas. Santa listened carefully and gave us a pencil to take home.
