Maths Week - Day 3 🍃
17th Oct 2025
Our P1 and P2 pupils have been busy taking their maths learning outside this week, exploring numbers and shapes in fun and messy ways.
Using chalk, they had a go at writing their numbers and showed fantastic number formation skills.
In the mud kitchen, they sorted pots from biggest to smallest, while others organised tyres and crates in order.
Using bamboo sticks and pieces of wood, the children created 2D shapes and with natural materials like leaves and twigs, they built numbers on ten frames and explored addition in playful ways.
