Good Morning everyone. welcome back to term 3. I hope you were able to enjoy a bit of a break over the holidays, the lovely sunshine certainly helped lift the spirits! This week's Education City tasks are now available online and the class tasks for each year group are on the school website. In addition to this we would like to trial the new National Academy online lessons which launched today. You may have heard of these on the news recently; they are based around the English Curriculum but after reviewing them briefly this morning I can say they are also relevant to us. I have added the link below. Each day there are 3 lessons available for each year group, they are teacher led by video with accompanying activities and quizzes to test knowledge and need little or no adult input (this may beneficial for those of you trying to manage work and other responsibilities throughout the day.) If you would like to access them follow the link and select your child's year (Reception = P1, year 1 =P2, year 2=P3 and so on). More/less challenging tasks can be selected by choosing a different year group. It would be great to get some feedback from those who use them at the end of the week. Our teachers will also be reviewing them to see if they are suitable to incorporate into our own provision.
